Usually 96% of the boys are admitted, on average, every year, to the final exam: next June, however, everyone will have the opportunity to take the tests, taking into account the emergency period. But the access credits and the final mark will be based on the path actually taken by the students. It is a summary of the content of the ordinance of the Ministry of Education on maturity.

To give proper weight to the school path, it is expected that the credit of the final three-year period will be reviewed and increased: it may be worth up to 60 points, instead of 40, as before the emergency. Up to 40 points can be obtained at the oral exam. The final maximum possible mark remains, in fact, 100/100. Praise will be obtained, as every year. The credits of the final three years of studies will be recalibrated according to the tables that will be attached to the ministerial ordinance. The current year will weigh up to 22 credits. The oral test will take place in the presence (unless epidemiological conditions allow it and with specific exceptions for particular cases) in front of a commission composed of 6 internal members and an external President, so that students can be evaluated by the teachers who they know their course of study. The document, with what has actually been done, will be produced by the Class Councils by May 30th. The document for the preparation of the materials that will be proposed to the candidates for the oral exam will refer to that document. Each candidate will discuss, at the opening of the interview, a paper concerning the disciplines of address, dealing with an agreed topic that will be assigned by the teachers of those disciplines to each student by June 1st. A discussion of a short text, already studied in the context of teaching Italian language and literature during the fifth year, is foreseen. Reference will be made to the texts contained in the document prepared by the class council. The candidate will analyze, following, a material assigned by the commission always consistent with the path made. Finally, the experiences carried out within the Paths for transversal competences and orientation will be exposed and the knowledge related to "Citizenship and Constitution" will be ascertained according to what is actually done by the class.
