His Highness also sent a similar message to the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Abul-Gheit, in which he confirmed the support of the UAE to the brothers from Arab countries in facing this epidemic, valuing the role played by the League and its mechanisms in coordinating Arab efforts to combat this epidemic.

In his message, His Highness addressed the many humanitarian initiatives implemented by the UAE since the beginning of this pandemic, and His Highness said: “The UAE extended a helping hand and assistance to about 40 countries, and sent more than 410 tons of medical aid, and worked hard in cooperation with the World Health Organization and its partners from Through the International Humanitarian City, which includes the largest warehouses for humanitarian relief, to transport more than 80% of the organization's medical and health assistance to more than 98 countries around the world, and to deliver the necessary supplies to combat the Corona virus during the first third of this year ».
His Highness praised Al-Othaimin's efforts in launching the urgent joint initiative of the organization and the Islamic Solidarity Fund, and the efforts of the Islamic Development Bank in establishing a strategic preparedness and response center to help the most vulnerable member countries to mitigate the negative effects caused by this virus at the health, social and economic levels.
His Highness pointed to the importance of tireless work to confront the pandemic by reaching a ceasefire in all conflict areas in the Islamic world, and urged all warring parties to stop hostilities and work to resolve differences through dialogue and other peaceful means to reach solutions to these conflicts.
In addition, His Highness mentioned in his message to the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States: «The world lives today in difficult conditions and times due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus (COFED-19), which has caused more than three million people to be infected, and more than 228,000 people have died at the level of The world, which has caused great damage to the labor, health, economic, commercial and financial sectors in various parts of the world, which requires us all to join hands and join all regional and international efforts to combat this dangerous epidemic. ”
His Highness Abu Al-Ghait briefed on the precautionary and preventive efforts and measures taken by the UAE in the face of the epidemic (Covid-19), including the evacuation of its citizens and their companions abroad and facilitating the return of residents wishing to their countries, and the establishment of 14 centers to detect corona virus from the vehicle in the various emirates and conduct a tremendous amount Of the tests, it exceeded 1.2 million tests, also launched (the National Sterilization Program) and employed smart and innovative solutions in response to the epidemic and crisis management.
In his message, His Highness affirmed that he shares the opinion of Abu Al-Ghait that the time has come for the guns to be silent and conflicts to stop until we face the pandemic, and that the Arab world is now in dire need of the value of joint teamwork.
His Highness pointed out that there is an urgent need to study the repercussions of the Corona pandemic crisis on the Arab world in the future, how to activate joint Arab action to face its challenges, and the need to work to develop proactive strategies and joint plans that enhance the capabilities of countries, especially in the food security sector, so as to contribute to maintaining supply and trade chains Open, strengthening and developing joint efforts in the health and pharmaceutical industries, including activating the Arab Health and Environment Strategy and strategic guidelines for action (2017-2030) that were adopted at the summit level in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2018.
