Guest of Europe 1 Thursday morning, Laurent Berger, secretary general of the CFDT, reacted to the report published by the Montaigne Institute, which mentions an increase in the working time of the French to "bounce back from the Covid-19".

INTERVIEW

The subject is again on the table: will it be necessary to work more after the imposed confinement to fight against the coronavirus, in order to raise the economy? It was the proposal of the boss of Medef, Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux, who defended last month a negotiation on a case by case basis to derogate from the labor law, before changing his mind. On Wednesday, the Montaigne Institute published a report along the same lines, mentioning in particular an increase in working time to "bounce back" after the health crisis.

Guest of Europe 1 Thursday, Laurent Berger, general secretary of the CFDT, evoked an idea "irrelevant" and "provocative". "What we are talking about is not to work more, it is to work all."
