New demonstrations this Wednesday night in Bamako and inside Mali against the results of the legislative elections. Inside, in places like Sikasso, road traffic is paralyzed. And in the Malian capital, after the start of the curfew, the demonstrators burn the tires on arteries and disappear before the arrival of the police.

Less than 30 minutes after the start of the curfew, in pick-up vehicles, the security forces begin the round in the Badalabougou district of Bamako. Young people, their faces hidden, leave a house. Tires in hand, they blocked the road and set on fire.

A private security guard guarding a nearby bank testified: "  It was the young people, they came to put tires on the tar and they set fire to it. I am scared.  A few moments later, the head of the special intervention brigade disembarks on the scene in plain clothes. And as if the actions were coordinated, the same scene occurs in other districts of the capital.

Dissatisfaction after the publication of the results of the last legislative elections by the Constitutional Court spread to part of the locality of Sikasso in the south. I am in the southern corridor of Sikasso, the road which leads to Bamako," says Foussény Mariko, leader of the demonstrators. We completely cut the road here. Burned tires everywhere. There are more than 2,000 vehicles parked here . He adds what we hear elsewhere: "  we must review the results of the legislative  ".
