Longping Academician Port Settled in Huangpu, Guangzhou

The site of Changzhou Island in Huangpu was selected to build the academician port of Longping, and to jointly build the "Huangpu Military Academy" of modern agricultural technology.
The project was led by Academician Yuan Longping, and academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Luo Xiwen, Zou School, Liu Shaojun, Liu Zhonghua and other supporters. Academician Yuan Longping said he is confident that the third-generation hybrid rice planting base project will achieve the expected target of 1500 kg per mu of double-season rice.
Longping Academician Port is located on Changzhou Island, Huangpu, located in Longping International Modern Agricultural Rice Park (hereinafter referred to as Longping Park) under construction. After the project is completed, it will deeply implement the national food security strategy, build an academician research center, modern agricultural science and technology incubation center, Longping Rice Museum, academician expert service center, modern agricultural international exchange training center, and vigorously promote Guangzhou rice research, production and industry Continue to develop healthily and improve the research and development level of rice germplasm innovation, cultivation of new varieties and industrial development in the Huangpu District and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Longping Academician Port will also link more scientific research institutions to promote the establishment of the South China Branch of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Hunan Agricultural University (Huangpu) Innovation Research Institute, South China Agricultural University (Huangpu) Innovation Research Institute and other scientific research platforms. Many scientific research achievements were brought to Huangpu for transformation, and jointly created a new model of agricultural development.
On February 26 this year, Longping Park, which was selected, planned and nominated by Academician Yuan Longping, was officially launched as one of the major projects in the district's "100 Great Projects Celebrating 100 Years". On April 28, Longping Park was officially opened. The test field of the National Hybrid Rice Engineering Technology Research Center in the garden is the only project in Guangdong Province that has been included in the demonstration sites of 28 National Hybrid Rice Engineering Technology Research Centers in the country. At present, the experimental field has completed 160 acres of early rice planting. The high-quality rice planting work in Dajisha will be completed by the end of May. It is expected that a continuous paddy field landscape of more than 1,000 mu will be formed by the end of June.
