When it became known that Kungsör had a high school agreement with Arboga and Eskilstuna but not with Köping, strong feelings were aroused among both parents and students.

Something also reported by Bärgslagsbladet / Arboga Tidning.

On Wednesday afternoon, however, an agreement was signed by the school authorities of the two municipalities, which means that the students from Kungsör are now first-hand applicants when applying for upper secondary education in Köping.

In a press release they stated that the agreement is long-term and that they agree on how they will work together.

This means that when young people from Kungsör are now applying for education in Arboga, Eskilstuna or Köping, they do so on equal terms with the students who live in those municipalities.
