Many students are home from school in coronation times even though they are not sick. These may be concerns about being infected, having an underlying illness, or living with someone who is at risk of suffering severe covid-19. At the same time, the absence clashes with compulsory schooling and students can be reported to the social services for unlawful absence. A survey conducted by SVT Nyheter Öst shows that the municipalities in our area have chosen different ways to handle the absence.
