“I have a dialogue with our representative of the president in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anton Korenevich on this topic, and we are just developing a strategy, concept, vision of the occupied Crimea,” Kuleba said.
In particular, he called preservation of the Crimea theme on the “strategic agenda” one of the tactical tasks.
“The second is how we ensure the effectiveness of the sanctions regime against Crimea,” the Ukrainian foreign minister added.
In addition, another task Culeba considers the search for additional international instruments of pressure on Russia.
“And the strategic task is how Crimea will be returned to Ukraine ... This is not a diplomatic fantasy, but a completely pragmatic calculation,” the Ukrainian Foreign Minister concluded.
Earlier, the Ukrainian ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, Andrey Melnik, in absentia invited the former German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder to bet on the “return” of Crimea to Ukraine.
Crimea became the Russian region after a referendum held in March 2014, in which most residents of the peninsula voted to reunite with Russia.
