“It has been proposed since May 8 to restrict the entry and exit of people from Nakhodka, except for citizens working in continuous-cycle enterprises, to introduce a system of control over residents in the municipality,” the press release said after a meeting of the operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus infection chaired by the governor Primorye Oleg Kozhemyako.

The head of the territorial administration of Rospotrebnadzor Tatyana Detkovskaya noted that the growth rate of those infected with coronavirus in Nakhodka is almost two times higher than the regional average and amounts to 16.4%.

In Nakhodka, the work of shopping centers will also be suspended, except for shops with groceries and essential goods.

In addition, the city will carry out sanitization of all public places and housing.

According to the latest data, 684 cases of coronavirus were recorded in Primorye. At the same time, 99 patients recovered, six more died.

Starting April 30, a universal mask regime was introduced in Primorsky Krai, according to which local residents will be required to wear protective equipment in public places and in transport.
