At the end of March, the government, the Center Party and the Liberals presented a crisis package. It contained more generous rules in the a-box. Among other things, it was about raising the ceiling in the first 100 days when a person is unemployed. The new rules are temporary, and will apply until January next year.

The echo states on Wednesday afternoon that the parties have agreed on further changes to the a-cash. The so-called "ceiling amount" - the maximum allowance - is also increased for those who are without a job more 100 days.

At the moment, the A-cash gives a maximum of SEK 760 a day. The sum is raised during the corona crisis to SEK 1,000, says Ekot.

The new proposal for the A-fund is estimated to cost around SEK 1 billion. It is expected to be presented at a press conference shortly.
