- It's totally macabre. I have never been to anything like it, ”says Pär Palm, rescue officer on site to SVT.
The owners must have been away and discovered the fire on their return. As it is far to the nearest neighbor, no one has paid attention to the fire before the owners return.
- It also burns in the forest. That is what we are fighting now, says Pär Palm.
The rescue service has great resources in place. The rescue services from Ockelbo, Bollnäs and Alfta are in place together with the police and ambulance.
The fact that the fire could spread so quickly is most likely due to the strong wind that blew in the area.
