Italian scientists have said they have developed a vaccine that can neutralize the effect of the Corona virus in human cells. The tests done at the Spalanzani Hospital for Infectious Diseases in Rome led to the production of antibodies in mice that could function in human cells.

"This is the most advanced stage of possible vaccine testing in Italy," said Takis CEO Luigi Orescio, who is searching for treatments for Corona.

He added to the Italian News Agency: "According to the Spalanzani Hospital, as far as I know, we are the first in the world to prove the possibility of nullifying the effect of the Corona virus by a vaccine, and it is expected that human trials will be conducted at the end of next summer."

“We are working hard to obtain a vaccine from Italian research, with a purely Italian research technology,” he said.

Oriskio indicated that after the mice were given this vaccine, they developed antibodies that neutralized the ability of the virus to affect human cells, and researchers explained. Note that five of the candidate vaccines that produced antibodies then chose the best two of them that provided the best results, and the following tests will be performed to understand how long the immune response to this vaccine continues.

Last week, Oxford University experts said that the first results related to corona virus vaccine trials could emerge by mid-June.
