Next week, the Health Board and the Regional Board are expected to decide how the patients currently listed at the health center should be offered good primary care in the future. It is proposed that the regional director and the director of health should be commissioned to investigate how a continued operation can be conducted.

- There is, after all, a choice of care and there should be competition neutrality. Our main focus now is to investigate all possible alternatives for continuing to operate in the health center in Vilbergen in the future, says Torbjörn Holmqvist (S), chairman of the Health Board.

The reasons why Helsa wants to wind up in Vilbergen are stated to be the financial situation and difficulties in finding staff.

- I think it is mainly doctors they found difficult to find, says Torbjörn Holmqvist.

The company also operates the health centers in Kneippen, Skarptorp, Spiran and Östertull in Norrköping.
