  The Mount Everest 2020 mountaineering team members will carry GNSS (Global Satellite Navigation System) receivers, gravimeters, snow depth radars, meteorological measuring instruments and targets to reach the summit of Mount Everest for measurement operations. They will strive to seize the recent weather window of the summit, and make the summit measurement at another day.

  According to Li Guopeng, the captain of the national test team, the 2020 Everest elevation survey mountaineering team has conducted more than two months of comprehensive mountaineering skill training at the Huairou National Mountaineering Training Base in Beijing from January 12 this year. From March 20 to April On the 5th, a high-altitude mountaineering comprehensive training was conducted at the Yangbajing Alpine Training Base in Tibet. From April 7 to April 26, high-altitude mountaineering adaptability training was carried out on the section of Mount Everest below 7,500 meters above sea level.
