Susanne Dahlgren has followed Karlskrona HK's sporting progress and adversity for several years. But no time may have been as bleak as that club is in right now. The club's finances are at the bottom, and the threat of bankruptcy is getting closer.

- It feels a little bit like total darkness. What KHK means to me personally is no secret, and to everyone else here it also means just about anything. Can't understand that you let an association go into the grave that has such a large youth activity, says Susanne Dahlgren, president of the Blackbugs supporter association.

The economy at the bottom

The virus and its effects have caused sponsorship revenue to fail, and even though the club has stopped all salary payments, they are still in need of financial support. Now everything depends on whether Karlskrona municipality wants to step in and support, says club management. Something the municipality yesterday announced was not prepared to do at the level the club wanted.

- It's not really just about Karlskrona HK. There are many associations fighting in this situation. Should we have no sport after this ?, says Susanne Dahlgren.
