What is happening to the overseas Chinese in all countries as the new pneumonia epidemic spreads all over the world? China Overseas Chinese Network (ID: qiaowangzhongguo) specially launched a series of "Overseas Stays" series of manuscripts, telling the story of the "war epidemic" left by overseas Chinese. In this issue, Ji Yueqi, a Chinese student studying in Malaysia, tells us her story of staying behind.

Today is the 93rd day of my isolation at home in Malaysia. During these three months, my lifestyle has changed dramatically.

Before the epidemic, I usually go to Pavilion and KLCC at least once a week to make purchases to maintain my normal life. However, due to the epidemic situation, these two shopping malls have become deserted, so I am now purchasing through mobile apps such as Tesco.

During quarantine, I let myself develop some good habits, such as getting up early and going to bed, reading more books, and drawing. My life now becomes very regular, the daily rhythm is:

Get up → eat breakfast → read a book → eat lunch → draw pictures → read a book → eat dinner → fitness → take a shower → sleep

Every time I go to the 711 convenience store downstairs to buy something, it will become my happiest time to "ventilate". The salesperson at the 711 downstairs has become a close good friend with me. Because there is now an activity to collect stickers for Hello Kitty limited plates in Malaysia 711, every time I collect stickers, I will go to the salesperson to ask for plates, and she will send me more stickers every time.

When the domestic epidemic is serious in China, she will tell me to take care of herself and her family and warm me up in other countries.

After the outbreak, our school was suspended. At present, I mainly do homework online classes, and do the research at home the rest of the time. Teachers will often send us emails to care about the students' living conditions and physical conditions, which makes foreign students who are overseas deeply moved.

During the school suspension period, I also found a part-time job online to enrich my after-school life. Because the direction of future career development is to be a teacher, I want to experience it in advance.

This year is destined to be an extraordinary year. As a Chinese student studying abroad, I am always concerned about the situation of the motherland. I believe that if there are challenges, there will be breakthroughs. I hope that the epidemic can pass as soon as possible, and our motherland is getting better and better!
