Corona pandemic has a major impact on business in Östergötland. The company law in Östergötland helps companies with, among other things, advice.

- We get all kinds of questions. Much is about government support packages. I have had seven to eleven calls already today, says Ingela Gullstrand, who works at the region's corporate law department.

According to Ingela Gullstrand, the biggest concerns for companies are loss of income. Companies in all sorts of industries are in contact. But right now especially from the hospitality industry and shops with rare purchases.

- It's a lot of resignation. The difficult thing for the whole community is that there is no end date. It is hoped that it will turn soon, but no one knows how long this will continue. Jouren receives many such support calls, she says.

Different conditions in the industry

Statistically, most calls come from Norrköping, followed by Linköping. But you also get a lot of calls from the visitor industry in the archipelago and along with Vättern. When it comes to Östergötland's industries, it looks very different, according to her.

- Some still have very good assignments. Many are subcontractors and depend on the large company. For some, things are going well, the paper industry for example. For others worse off, those who are subcontractors to the automotive industry for example, says Ingela Gullstrand.
