With many countries around the world beginning to ease the closures and prohibitions imposed, some of the most populous countries in the world have reported a worrying new peak in cases of emerging coronavirus infection.

According to the "Associated Press", India announced the largest number of daily casualties, as it recorded more than 2,600 new cases in the past 24 hours, after announcing the easing of closure procedures, and Russia registered more than 10 thousand new cases for the first time as well.

In Egypt, the number of injuries has increased dramatically. In the past few days, after the government announced the easing of closure procedures, coinciding with the beginning of the month of Ramadan, hundreds of cases, bringing the total number of cases to more than 6000 cases.

Health experts have repeatedly warned of a possible second wave of injuries unless the test is expanded significantly once the closings are eased, but pressure for re-opening continues to increase after continuing for months, and the economy has collapsed in a way the world has not seen since the 1930s.

For his part, US President Donald Trump announced his intention to reopen the economy, saying: "We have to reopen it safely, but as soon as possible."

White House coronavirus coordinator Deborah Perks, in press statements, expressed concern about protests by armed and often masked crowds calling for an end to staying at home and a fully restored economy.

She added: "It is very worrying for me personally, because if they go home and hit their grandmother or grandfather, they will feel guilty for the rest of their lives, so we need to protect each other at the same time that we express our displeasure."

In turn, Dr. Tom Inglisby, director of the Center for Health Security at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, said that if the restrictions are lifted too early, the virus may return in “small waves in different places across the country.”

He noted that nothing has changed in the basic dynamics of this virus, until the closure is lifted.

Meanwhile, the divide in the United States between those who want to end closures and their opponents has spilled over into Congress.

In Britain, Prime Minister Boris Johnson is under pressure to reveal how the country will lift its closure, and restrictions are set to continue until Thursday, but as hundreds of deaths continue to be reported daily, it is unclear how the country can relieve restrictions safely.
