Georgia Governor over a week ago opened operations, including hairdressing salons, again in the state. But Corey Ross stays closed.

- Sure, Bryan Kemp has said we can open, but Brian Kemp is not my dad. I do not listen to what he says, but use my own eyes. I myself have seen how people I know well here have passed away.

A few hundred meters away, Alicia Harris is overjoyed to have been able to open her salon after five weeks of closure.

- Unless we cut our customers, someone else will take them.

And a few hundred yards away, in Alabama, Sheryl Kirkland longs to do the same. But Alabama should be closed for another time.

- It feels like they have robbed me of the right to make money.
