A very gradual return to the office in Ile-de-France? In any case, this is the call launched by Valérie Pécresse (ex-Les Républicains), president of the region. In an interview with the Journal du Dimanche , she describes her strategy to prepare for the organization of deconfinement, crucial in a region as dense as Ile-de-France. Five million travelers use public transport there every day.

Valérie Pécresse asks first of all that the employees today in telework the rest for this week of May 11. “With the State, we propose that 100% of the employees who are now telecommuting do not return to the office the week of May 11. We want to aim for a target of 90% the second week, then 80% until the summer, ”she says. Negotiations are underway with employers' organizations - Medef, U2P, CPME - around a charter in which employers commit to this very gradual return.

On the Ile-de-France public transport network, travelers must wear a mask and respect physical distance measures. The region is working "with RATP, SNCF and Optile buses" to ensure the disinfection of the trains. "We will double the cleaning of all contact surfaces in vehicles, stations and stations, with powerful disinfectants, like those used in hospitals," says Valérie Pécresse.

"We will put 500 people on the ground, mobile cleaning brigades, which will intervene twice a day from May 11 and until the summer, in addition to a complete cleaning which will be done at the end of each service. », With the help of service providers, which will cost Ile-De-France Mobilités (IDF organizing transport authority) an additional 10 million euros.
