On the night of April 9, a man was beaten in a town in Strömsund municipality. Several perpetrators must have broken the windows of a car with a bumper, and when the car owner went out to stop them he was beaten with the same attitude.
The police received the alarm shortly before 4 in the morning, but the suspects were able to leave the scene, and a report of serious abuse was established. The battered man, who is in his 60s, should not have needed hospital care.
Now, police have arrested three people in their 20s who were arrested in their absence for involvement in the abuse. They were picked up by police on Saturday morning, police report on Sunday. The case is led by prosecutors.
