- There was an expectation that we gathered in any register where in the beginning exactly how many people were infected, but then it does not work. This information is per person in their journal and we generally have no compilations about the users' condition, says Johan Lindström, head of the health and care administration in Eskilstuna.

So the municipality has no summaries of the number infected in the elderly care?

- Now we have it to be able to distribute protective material and staff in a different way, but it took a few weeks to get this system to work. Today we have a daily update on where the infection and the suspected infection are.

Do you provide information on the number of infected people?

- We have been doing this for quite some time. I believe that I confirmed for the first time in early April that we have the infection in the business and reported the total figure. What we, on the other hand, cannot disclose is on exactly which elderly housing there is infection. I believe that it is about protecting the privacy of the individuals. We make this assessment on the basis of confidentiality legislation.

Don't you think it is important for the public to know exactly what the spread of infection looks like in all homes?

- I feel that we cannot disclose that information because no one is at risk of being hanged. I have to be sure that the residents or relatives do not suffer in any way but from it, for example, that you are being bullied if you leave a residence, and I cannot guarantee such a thing if I leave the information.

According to Sörmlands Media, the municipalities have developed strategies for darkening. Is this correct?

- Not what I know. The inquiries that have come in about handing out addresses have come to me, so it is I who made the decision not to disclose which homes for the elderly and home care services the infection is on.
