What is happening to the overseas Chinese in all countries as the new pneumonia epidemic spreads all over the world? China Overseas Chinese Network (ID: qiaowangzhongguo) specially launched a series of "Overseas Stays" series of manuscripts, telling the story of the "war epidemic" left by overseas Chinese. In this issue, Jia Yixin and Chen Yanling in Germany tell the story of staying behind.

A few days ago, the Stuttgart Chinese Language School in Germany received a special task: entrusted by the Chinese Consulate General in Frankfurt to undertake the distribution of masks to the overseas Chinese in the area. Soon, the work began efficiently and orderly.

First, the school set up a distribution team composed of 18 volunteers and divided Stuttgart and the surrounding area into 15 distribution sites. The two team members went to the consulate general to retrieve the anti-epidemic materials, and then the volunteers at each site retrieved the masks they needed.

During the distribution process, the volunteers strictly followed the working procedures, and wear masks and gloves when packing and sealing small packages. Regardless of the fatigue of continuous work, in just a few days, they distributed more than 5,000 masks.

Domestic compatriots who failed to return home on time.

Most of the overseas Chinese who work here have the next generation. This time, many people took the materials as a family unit; some of them were compatriots who were stranded in Germany. After receiving the mask, the original anxiety was also eased.
