The Saudi-Emirati coalition aircraft launched several raids on sites in Al-Bayda Governorate (central Yemen), while reports were conflicting about the nature of the targets and the size of the losses.

The Media Center for Al-Bayda Governorate said that the Saudi-Emirati coalition aircraft launched several raids on Houthi gatherings in a free area in Al-Wehbiya.

The aircraft also bombed the "September 26" camp of the Houthi militias in the Al-Sawadiyah district of Al-Bayda governorate, and the center indicated that the raids resulted in the killing and wounding of a number of Houthi elements and the destruction of mechanisms and weapons.

For its part, the Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah channel said that "the aggression flight" targeted Afar customs in the Al-Sawadiyah district in Al-Bayda.

The channel added that the raids resulted in three injuries and a number of missing drivers of locomotives, including foreigners, and the burning of 11 locomotives completely, which included food, household appliances and electrical generators.

A statement issued by the administration of the Customs Authority (headquartered in Sanaa) said that the Saudi-American “aggression airline” targeted the Afar Customs Center in Al-Bayda Governorate (center) with several raids, which resulted in deaths and injuries and the burning of a number of tankers loaded with goods.

"We could not know the number of dead and wounded due to the continued flight of the enemy aircraft," the statement added.

He pointed out that the targeted site is "the main outlet for the flow of food and medicine, especially after the enemy closed and besieged the port of Hodeidah."

He explained that the center is home to hundreds of trucks loaded with food, considering that the bombing reflects the targeting of the Yemeni people and besieging them in food and medicine, especially in light of the risks of the Corona pandemic.

This development comes with the continuation of a truce declared by the Arab coalition on its part, with the aim of focusing on facing the Corona epidemic in Yemen.

Since September 2014, Yemen has witnessed continuous fighting between government forces supported by a Saudi-led coalition, and the Houthis in control of several governorates, including the capital, Sanaa.
