A Ukrainian woman was buried alive after being attacked by a gangster and managed to escape.

Foreign media, including Daily Mail in the UK on the 28th of last month, reported that Nina Ludchenko, 57, of Marianske, Ukraine, was almost killed by two drunk brothers.

The two brothers, 30 and 27, plunged into Ludchenko's house last week. At that time, Ludchenko, who was home alone, began to be assaulted by drunk young men for no reason.

When Mr. Ludchenko passed out, the brother took Mr. Ludchenko to a nearby cemetery. Then, after watering his face, he was awakened and threatened to dig himself into the ground. Eventually, Mr. Ludchenko was buried alive and the brother, who thought he was dead, leisurely left the scene.

Luckily, Ludchenko, who was fortunate enough to cover her face with her hands, dug the ground and returned home as soon as the gangs left. Ludchenko was taken to the hospital the next morning after his family found himself in the living room.

At that time, Mr. Ludchenko showed signs of concussion and had a broken jaw and nose. Also, the bruises and swelling on the face and the whole body made it difficult for the family to recognize the face.

Subsequently, local police began an investigation and arrested a suspect brother living in the same town. They said that they were "drunk" in the investigation and did not give detailed statements about the motive or situation. Police said they would apply for a warrant of arrest for alleged attempted murder and kidnapping.
