The corresponding comment of the Rospotrebnadzor is published on the website of stopcoronavirus.rf.

According to the agency, there is a high probability that in hot weather and a large amount of solar ultraviolet radiation, the frequency of infection with the virus will decline, as is the case with all other respiratory infections.

“In the case of cool and rainy weather, when our citizens return to their places of study or work, the probability of a second wave of morbidity in the autumn period is high,” the department said.

Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences Alexander Lukashev, in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper, suggested that the weakening of restrictive measures due to the coronavirus in Russia would be very cautious, and it could take many months to complete the pandemic.
