Leader Kim Jong-un "attended the ceremony" to inaugurate a North Korean factory, his first public appearance since March 11. 

Kim Jong-un participated in the inauguration of a factory on Friday, KCNA news agency said in the first statement by official media of a public appearance by the North Korean leader since rumors about his health began started running last month.

Kim Jong-un "attended the ceremony", and "all the participants threw hurray!" when it appeared, said the official agency. The North Korean leader has not appeared in public since he chaired a politburo meeting on April 11. The next day, official media claimed that he was inspecting fighter jets at a military base.
