The Director of the General Traffic Department, Brigadier Saif Muheir Al Mazrouei, stated that the awareness campaign targets community members as they come to the commercial centers, distributing hundreds of sterilizers, gags, sterilization materials and tools, in addition to educating them on ways to prevent the spread of the Corona virus (Covid 19), through health guidelines And preventive.
He added that the police officers explain to the mall visitors how to take serious precautionary measures, especially the physical spacing, in addition to fully adhering to wearing masks and gloves in order to protect the person himself and others around him, and directing them towards public health rules and cleaning and disinfection of surfaces, in addition to introducing them to methods of transmission and how Protecting themselves, what are the symptoms that appear on the infected person, and what are the steps to be taken in the event of the emergence of cases infected with the virus, which is to isolate the infected, and contact immediately the competent authorities to take the necessary measures.
Al-Mazrouei stressed the importance of sterilizing all the facilities of the house and sterilizing cars well every day, not to leave sterilizers inside of them because of their risk of causing fire accidents, providing hand sanitizers at the entrance to the house for use, and commitment to physical distance everywhere.
