- You can say that we have had a fantastic police weather, small cold and rain, then people stay calm, says Lars Hedelin, press officer at the Bergslagen Police.

However, there has not been any corona effect that makes the valley people stay at home, people have moved out and the applications for the election evening are very much about drunkenness. In several municipalities, including Rättvik and Mora, the public has been troubled by car-borne youth who play loud music.

A serious crime has been noted in Älvdalen where a suspected drunk driver tried to drive away from the police. The journey ended after a shorter hunt with the man driving into a tree.

- When the patrolman checked the car they found a weapon for which the driver is not licensed. The man is now arrested on suspicion of aggravated weapons offense, states Lars Hedelin.

The emergency services report a large number of ground fires, including in connection with the Valborg Fair fires, around the county.
