May 01, 2020 The threshold of people recovered from coronavirus worldwide has exceeded one million: this is what emerges from the updated count published by John Hopkins University. According to data collected by the American university, the recovered are now 1,014,809, while the dead are 233,405 compared to a total of 3,257,520 cases.

The United States are leading in the number of healed (154 thousand) followed by Germany (123 thousand), Spain (112 thousand), China (78 thousand) and Italy (76 thousand).

Usa, over 2000 deaths for the third consecutive day
The United States registered another 2,053 deaths in 24 hours from the new coronavirus. This is what Johns Hopkins University reports. It is the third consecutive day with over 2,000 deaths. The American death toll since the start of the pandemic was 62,906. 

The United States is by far the country most affected by Covid-19, ahead of Italy (27,967 deaths), the United Kingdom (26,711), Spain (24,543) and France (24,376). The new coronavirus has killed at least 230,000 people worldwide since its appearance in China in December. The US, with over one million cases diagnosed as Covid-19, alone accounts for almost a third of officially registered cases in 195 countries and territories worldwide.
