Over the last day in Russia confirmed 7933 new cases of coronavirus infection. Among the new cases, clinical signs of the disease did not show 44.5% of the total number of patients.

For the previous 24 hours, 7 thousand patients with COVID-19 were found in the Russian Federation, 5.8 thousand a day before.

According to recent data, in Russia the total number of cases of coronavirus infection with COVID-19 has reached 114,431. The disease has been detected in all regions of the country.

However, on the eve it became known that in Moscow 631 people recovered from coronavirus infection. The total number of patients with COVID-19 in Moscow rose to 5766 people.

At the same time, Moscow authorities said that they prosecuted 2.5 thousand quarantine violators. We are talking about people with coronavirus and SARS and those living with them who have violated compulsory self-isolation. This was told by the head of the Main Control Department of Moscow Evgeny Danchikov.

“On Wednesday, with the help of photo and video fixation systems and other technical means, more than 2.5 thousand people were brought to administrative responsibility for violating the mandatory self-isolation regime - these are people with coronavirus and SARS, as well as citizens living with them,” - RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Danchikov said that almost 4 thousand of such violations were recorded during the entire observation period.

Restricted Situation in Russia

The Ministry of Health said that Russia is approaching a crucial milestone in the fight against coronavirus. As stated by the head of the department, Mikhail Murashko, the decisive factor in the victory over the infection should be the responsible behavior of each person in terms of compliance with self-isolation.

“The Ministry of Health of Russia calls on all citizens to show solidarity with the measures that the state is using and to refrain from visiting public places,” Murashko said on the website of the Ministry of Health.

The Minister noted that "staying at home these days and having a holiday with your family means to forestall the further development of the epidemic."

In turn, earlier the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova identified three main criteria on which the beginning of the stage of lifting the existing restrictions in the country depends.

“The first criterion by which we can understand that we can get out of the restriction regime is, of course, the decreasing growth rate. Also, this is the availability of free beds, the availability of opportunities and the number of tests to detect coronavirus in humans, ”she said in an interview with TASS.

In addition, according to Popova, a number of additional criteria can be distinguished, among which the mortality rate and the immune layer index.

“Maybe there will be some other criteria, we will look a little later ... When they correspond to positive data and epidemic processes, we can talk about the fact that various restrictions can be relaxed,” the head of Rospotrebnadzor said.

Earlier, Popova admitted that the first step in lifting restrictions would be to allow walks of two or three people and the ability to play sports on the street.

At the same time, Rospotrebnadzor warned of the risk of a second wave of COVID-19 diseases that could occur in the fall.

As follows from the department, there is a high probability that in hot weather and a large amount of solar ultraviolet radiation, the frequency of infection with the virus will decline, as is the case with all other respiratory infections.

“In the case of cool and rainy weather, when our citizens return to their places of study or work, the probability of a second wave of morbidity in the autumn period is high,” Rospotrebnadzor said.

In turn, according to the head of the FMBA, Veronika Skvortsova, in recent weeks, Russia has practically been on a plateau in terms of the number of cases of coronavirus.

“We were able to significantly reduce the rate of build-up of coronavirus infection. In fact, in recent weeks we have been almost on the plateau in terms of the number of new cases, ”Skvortsova said on Channel One.

Earlier, a spokesman for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov said that “one can timidly hope” that the country will reach a plateau according to the coronavirus, but the decrease in the dynamics of the growth of infected people will depend on the discipline of citizens during the May holidays.

On the eve it became known that the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin became infected with the coronavirus. In this regard, he went to self-isolation, which will take place in one of the medical institutions. President Vladimir Putin has appointed Acting Prime Minister First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov.

Test systems for antibodies to COVID-19

Against the background of these events, it became known that a test system for detecting antibodies to coronavirus was registered in Russia. As stated in the Federal Biomedical Agency, it is planned to produce about 100 thousand of such systems per week.

“Thanks to the achievements of scientists from the scientific-clinical center of physico-chemical medicine, it is now possible to monitor the patient’s recovery, study past impacts and identify cured patients,” said the head of the FMBA Veronika Skvortsova.

Recall that since the beginning of April in Russia, an experimental technique has been used for the treatment of COVID-19, in which patients receive transfusion of blood plasma with antibodies taken from ill patients.

It should be noted that RT was the first company in Russia whose employees passed screening tests for antibodies to COVID-19. Tests were conducted by the Human Stem Cell Institute Institute and the Silkway Rally Association.

Earlier, on the personal instructions of the Minister of Defense Sergey Shoigu, Bulat Yanborisov, the Silkway Rally Association together with the Russian Ministry of Defense together with protective equipment for military doctors organized the rapid delivery of these test systems, as well as several TV bridges between Chinese anti-COVID experts 19 and Russian military doctors.

As a result of a study conducted by 162 employees of the RT channel, IgM antibodies were found in 13 people, and three others had two types of antibodies: IgM and IgG. All 16 employees were sent to self-isolation.
