Today, Thursday, US intelligence announced that it had concluded that the new Corona virus was "not a human-made or genetically modified".
"The entire intelligence community has consistently provided critical support to US policymakers and those who respond to the Covid-19 virus that originated in China," the Office of the Director of National Intelligence said in a statement.
"The intelligence services also meet with the broad scientific consensus that the Covid-19 virus is not a man-made or a genetic modifier."
And the intelligence services continue their research to "determine whether the epidemic started by contact with infected animals or as a result of a laboratory accident in Wuhan," the Chinese city where it began to spread, according to the Intelligence Department in a statement.
Earlier this month, US President Donald Trump said his government was trying to determine whether the Corona virus had emerged from a laboratory in Wuhan, China, and Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo said that Beijing should disclose what it had learned.
Intelligence analysts fear that President Trump is searching for propaganda to use internationally in his escalating battle over China's guilt in the pandemic, either to cover up the crisis, or worse, accusing her of generating the deadly virus in her own labs - a theory rejected by the scientific consensus.

Several scientific studies conducted in different countries confirmed that the new virus developed by nature and that it did not originate in a laboratory, but the poll confirmed that misleading information and rumors still dominate the minds of some.
According to the newspaper "The Guardian", most scientists who studied the genetic origins of the coronavirus revealed by China say that the most likely possibility is that the biological organism was transferred from an animal to a person in an untested environment, as was the case with previous epidemics.
