“According to the operational working group of the Sakhalin Oblast Government, as of April 9, 2009, 6 people were undergoing treatment for coronavirus in the region, 19 patients have already been discharged,” he wrote on Telegram.
According to Limarenko, both cases of infection are imported: the infected flew to the island from Moscow.
The number of patients with coronavirus infection in Russia over the past day has increased by 5841 in 82 regions.
Since the start of the pandemic, 99,399 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country.
