Phase 2, Boccia to the Regions: "If positive data reopen from 18/5"

The government will assess differentiated openings by Region starting May 18, based on the contagion data that will emerge after May 4. This is what Minister Francesco Boccia would have explained to the representatives of the Regions during today's video conference. A new table with local authorities should therefore be held in the week that opens on 11 May, when the first monitoring data will be available, which will be carried out according to the parameters indicated in a circular by the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza.

95% of the orders ok, 5% changes by Sunday
95% of the regional orders are compatible with the Dpcm, while the remaining 5% need for changes that will be made by Sunday based on a constant comparison with the government and the clarifications provided in the Faq of Palazzo Chigi. Boccia would also have recognized the commitment of the Regions to proceed in a unified way, in order to start Phase 2 without breakages and in full collaboration.

Santelli withdraws order tonight or warns
If the president of Calabria, Jole Santelli, will not withdraw the order by tonight, the government will proceed with the warning. This is what the minister would have underlined, launching an appeal to the governor. Without an answer later this evening, he would have explained, the government will proceed with a warning and then challenge the measure.
