30 April 2020The Gallagher brothers return to quarrel remotely and in quarantine. They do it via social media for an old unpublished Oasis song, found and put online for download only now.

Noel Gallagher surprised Oasis fans by publishing for the first time 'Don't Stop', an unpublished demo of the band that the guitarist '' thought had been lost forever in some closet ''. Made available for download, the track is the first official release of Oasis for more than 10 years. On

29 April Noel published a post on Twitter announcing that he had found an old recording of the historic English band: `` Like the rest of the world, lately I've had an infinite amount of time to kill, '' explained Gallagher from the quarantine.

'' So I thought to finally search and discover the contents of hundreds of CDs stored in boxes scattered around the house. Destiny wanted me to come across an old demo that I thought had been lost forever '' and revealed that it would make 'Don't Stop' available for download starting at midnight on the same day:

Noel's decision did not appeal to his brother-enemy Liam, who dismissively called it "a publicity stunt".

The challenge goes on with post shots. "As far as I know," says Noel, "there is only one version of this melody, and it comes from an Oasis soundcheck in Hong Kong 15 years ago." The following morning, however, Liam's pungent reply did not wait: '' Ei boy tofu '', she wrote on Twitter addressing Noel. '' If you decide to release a demo, at least make sure that I am on vocals and Bonehead on guitar,
otherwise it is not worth publishing anything '':

Oi tofu boy if your gonna release old demos make sure im singing on it and boneheads playing guitar on it if it's not not worth a wank as you were LG x

In a subsequent tweet, the ex Oasis singer described his brother Noel's move as '' a publicity stunt '', challenging him to
also publish 'Step Out', another unpublished demo much requested by Oasis fans. '' But it won't, '' Liam wrote in response to one of his followers. '' Because I wrote it and it's jealous ''.

The rivalry between the brothers, historic even when the duo was at the height of popularity, adds a new chapter to the 'Gallagher war' in the days of the coronavirus, a war that has been going on at a distance since the Oasis officially dissolved in 2009.
