Dubai Roads and Transport Authority revealed to "Emirates Today" about allowing training institutes to drive vehicles in Dubai to resume its activity, provided that they adhere to precautionary terms and procedures. Today, April 30, after the institutes were closed since March 22, in implementation of the procedures of the national sterilization program.
The commission confirmed that it will implement inspection campaigns to verify the compliance of the institutes with those conditions aimed at achieving the highest levels of health and safety within the precautionary measures taken to limit the spread of the new Corona virus, stressing that it will immediately close and stop activity in institutes that do not comply with these requirements.
The requirements stipulated in the circular include the preventive measures that must be applied in training facilities and for employees and visitors, as well as for training activities and examination of drivers.
Conditions included with training facilities
First: training facilities
1. Specifying entry doors and exit doors, as it is forbidden to use a single entry and exit door, provided that the
dealers are entered according to the preset dates, making sure that the number of dealers present inside the facility does not exceed
30% of the facility's capacity.
2. Providing remote thermometers and avoiding the use of thermometers used in the ear.
3. Providing sterilization devices and materials in different places in the institute.
4. Instruct the cleaning team to perform the necessary sterilization and clean the chairs and handles of offices and training facilities periodically and continuously.
5. Commitment to sterilizing and cleaning inspection and training vehicles after every use inside and outside the vehicle.
6. Intensify periodic cleaning and sterilization for all facilities and focus on:

• tables and chairs for customer service
• elevator buttons and ascents and descent of stairs
• information area and the facility's entrances and exits
7. Accurately document the cleaning process through the cleaning logs and mention the material used for the disinfection.
8. Putting the necessary instructions and posters to maintain the safe distance for social spacing, estimated at 2 meters, within all facilities such as the lecture halls and reception area.
