As the Turkish government suspended international flights, 120 Koreans who were tied to Turkey returned to Korea as a special plane.

Consulate General of Istanbul said 120 Koreans staying in Turkey were on their way home on a special flight from Korean Air that took off from Istanbul International Airport on the afternoon of the 30th.

This is the second time that a special flight from Turkey to Korea has operated since the 15th.

Turkey previously suspended all international flights for reasons of suppressing the spread of Corona19.

In particular, as Qatar Airways ceased to operate flights to and from Qatar Doha from Istanbul on the 5th, the return route for the people and expatriates in Turkey has been virtually cut off.
