"The redundancy fund - he adds - is scheduled for 9 weeks until the end of December 2020. These are important measures because the health emergency could lead to the economic crisis: we must avoid that there are consequences in terms of employment and business". "We want to allow everyone, even those with only one employee" to be able to face the crisis, explains the minister.
"There will then be additional allocations for compensation to self-employed workers and in general non-refundable funds for all businesses to allow businesses to continue production activities - he explained again - there will be measures that will concern families, with the possibility of being able to take advantage of leave to look after children and we are working on guidelines to manage the presence of children in possible summer camps. These are all measures to not leave anyone behind. "

"We are addressing the issue of labor shortages in the agricultural sector, it can be expected for income earners and social safety nets who can accept the job offer also in the agricultural sector". The Minister of Labor, Nunzia Catalfo, says it to Corriere.tv, specifying that "if the offer becomes stable or has a reasonable time they can leave the measure and then return, if it is a few days of work our proposal is to accept it without losing support. "

The ban on layoffs until mid-May will be extended: "it is my intention to extend the measure". "We must try to avoid rising unemployment or the closure of entrepreneurial activities," he adds.
