This is stated in a message on the website of the Prosecutor General of Russia.

It is noted that in the media were published materials on numerous facts of coronavirus infection in workers at the Chayandinskoye field. In this regard, the prosecutor’s office checks information “on inappropriate living conditions of staff, the need for their evacuation, and the lack of personal protective equipment against the virus”. The Prosecutor General’s Office took control of the progress of this audit.

The prosecutor’s office also checks the arguments that in the village of Belokamenka of the Murmansk Region, where a center for large-tonnage marine structures is being built, sick employees were forced to go to work under the threat of dismissal.

The report said that according to the results of inspections, if there are reasons, the prosecutor’s office will take "comprehensive measures to eliminate violations."

Earlier, the operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus in the Murmansk region reported that 922 infected COVID-19 were recorded at a construction site in the village of Belokamenka.
