As expected, the opposition parties voted the Swedish Democrats, the Social Democrats, the Laholm Party and the Civil Assembly against discharge from the former chairman of the Children and Youth Committee. What stood out, however, was that the Center Party's collaboration party The Moderates chose to follow the same line.
Because Maria Bronelius (C) now has no discharge, the municipality can claim damages from her personally.
- On the part of the municipality, we will not make any such claims, if any party would do so, I do not think either, says Erling Cronqvist (C), chairman of the municipal council.
