“We are a sovereign state and we definitely will not allow some major world powers to try to influence our political affairs in any way,” the prime minister said.

According to Babish, Foreign Minister Tomas Petršicek is involved in urgent disputes with Moscow. With him, as the prime minister noted, he met on Tuesday.

At the same time, Babish added that the current situation does not require such actions as, for example, the expulsion of the Russian ambassador from the Czech Republic.

As noted, at a press conference after negotiations with President Milos Zeman, Babis said that he commented on Czech-Russian relations, but that they no longer discussed this topic at the meeting.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that reports in the Czech media about the arrival of an employee of the Russian special services in the country were fake and could be the reason for a journalistic investigation. She noted that bilateral relations between Russia and the Czech Republic began to spoil the "third forces."
