Palestinian factions and personalities have denounced the content of two Gulf serials that have been exposed since the beginning of Ramadan, because they contain insults against the Palestinian people, and calls for normalization with Israel.

The series are "Director 7, Umm Haroun," and broadcast by Dubai-based MBC, the UAE-based channel.

"Exit 7" starring Nasser Al-Qasabi and Nader Al-Shamrani touched, in one of his episodes, on relations with Israel, and scenes in which support the establishment of economic and cultural relations with it, and offended the Palestinian people, and described the enemy.

As for "Umm Haroun," his story revolves around a Jewish woman who suffers many difficulties and problems and lived in a Gulf country at the beginning of the last century. Critics see it as an attempt to falsify historical facts related to the conditions of establishing the occupying power.

Speakers unanimously agreed, in separate statements to the Anatolia Agency, that these actions do not reflect Arab peoples, but rather the policies of ruling regimes that have abandoned their principles and principles.

Unsuccessful normalization attempts
Hazem Qassem, a spokesman for the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), says that the dramas must be expressive of peoples and their ideas.

He adds: Some Arab works that were produced this year do not respect that matter, and they tend to spread strange, naturalistic ideas that call for coexistence with the occupation and dare to question the Palestinian cause.

He considers that the reaction of the Arab public to the content of the two series, through social media platforms, confirms its rejection of any normal behavior, and isolation of any party seeking to make the relationship with the occupation natural, stressing that the Arab conscience cannot be deceived by some of the typists' ideas and trends.

The spokesman in Hamas points out that Palestine is the central nation issue, and it is not permissible to attack it in this way, and that Israel will remain the primary enemy of the Arab nation.

In turn, Musab al-Braim, a spokesman for the Islamic Jihad movement, condemned what he called the Arab normalization behavior, adding that it is rejected, no matter how small its size, so how would it be if the talk about huge dramas produced millions of dollars.

Al-Braim considers that the exit of works of this magnitude - which calls for normalization and coexistence with Israel - indicates the mentality that governs these institutions and states, and that stands behind these productions, as it appears that they have been stripped of all their ethical principles.

And he affirms that these series are a historic blow in the side of the Arab and Islamic peoples, and a stigma on the forehead of those who supervised and implemented them, and will continue to pursue them in all stages of life.

Penetration of Arab awareness
As for Salama Maarouf, head of the government media office (Ministry of Information) in the Gaza Strip, he says that drama is one of the most influential means in peoples, and its use in this way demonstrates the desire of some parties to change the impressions of Arab peoples towards the central issue.

He adds: The call to establish a normal relationship with the occupation is a moral and ethical downfall, especially as it came out of some countries and parties that should be primarily among the first advocates of, and advocacy for, Palestinian rights.

Maarouf believes that the continuation of the normalization approach by some Arab parties with Israel indicates that the state of collapse in the value systems has been reflected on the various levels of cultural and artistic life.

In turn, political analyst Sharhabeel al-Gharib indicates that the normalization index in recent years has started to escalate by some Arab regimes, by offering a slogan saying that Israel is a country that can be coexisted with and considered a partner.

He explains that broadcasting some artistic series aimed at capturing the Palestinian cause is considered one of the most dangerous forms of normalization that must be fought by all means, in order to maintain the correct mental image within Arab minds.

And the stranger adds: Israel can never coexist with it, neither Arab nor international because its actions violate international and regional agreements, and we are required to work to increase people's awareness of the nature of the occupier, in order to confront normalization.

Moral decline, for
his part, says Hossam Abu Sitta, the coordinator of the national campaign to boycott the occupation, that the content of the two series carries many historical fallacies and impinges on Palestinian rights, praising Israel and considering it a partner in life and peace.

He pointed out that broadcasting such series is a deliberate disregard for the torture of millions of Palestinians who were forcibly displaced from their homeland towards the diaspora, and tortured, killed and arrested by Israel, which still practices all forms of repression and torture against the Palestinian people.

Abu Sitta appeals to all intellectuals, patriots and artists in different Gulf states to launch the largest pressure campaign against the MBC channel group to push it to stop broadcasting hate speech against the Palestinian people.
