A Canadian forces helicopter with six people on board went missing in international waters between Greece and Italy, during a NATO surveillance operation, the Greek air force reported on Wednesday.

According to the first information, the helicopter was outside the Greek control zone , "50 nautical miles from the coasts of the Greek island of Kefalonia and was participating in a surveillance operation of the zone" in charge of the Atlantic Alliance, according to the same source.
