The health care association has made formal demands to exclude pregnant women from all work with corona patients. But the health care management in the Värmland region does not want to make such a decision.

- It is still not defined as a risk factor, says Health Care Acting HR Manager Wolmer Edqvist.

The health and medical management refers to the fact that individual risk assessments are made when pregnant women are expected to work with coronary infections and that this is sufficient in itself. But the Health Care Association wants to see a general stop in order not to risk unnecessarily pregnant women.

- We will put a personal protective cap on and let the Swedish Work Environment Authority decide, says Camilla Gustafsson at the Swedish Medical Association in response to the question of how they will act if pregnant women are forced to work with coronary infected patients.
