The municipal council agreed to decide that the head of the preschool and primary school administration, Susanna Hanson, should leave her assignment.

- It is really about not finding the forms of cooperation between the board and the manager. It is required that you have a good cooperation between the head of administration and the board and if you do not find the forms for this, then the trust is lacking, says Ann-Charlotte Stenkil, chair of the municipal council in Varberg municipality.

Parachute with millions

Susanna Hanson will be offered a new service within the municipality, which has been commissioned by the deputy director to negotiate. But the choice is her to refuse the service and instead pay the severance pay of 21 monthly salaries, which equates to SEK 1,659,000.

What is it about service?

- The idea is not within the same administration, but in that case it is, for example, within the administration of the local council or possibly one of our other administrations, but we do not know that yet today, says Ann-Charlotte Stenkil, chair of the municipal council.

Susanna Hanson has been Head of Preschool and Elementary School Administration since 2018. She does not want to interview SVT but answers in an SMS:

- Of course, what has happened is very boring, but when you take such a job you know what rules of play apply. If there is no mutual trust, I cannot continue working in such an organization, but then the cooperation needs to be broken. I am extremely happy and grateful to have been a part of Varberg's municipality so far and what happens in the future I must come back to, writes Susanna Hanson.
