This Tuesday, around 8:45 am, an 84 year old woman was found in the La Doux river, in the small town of Bargemon in the Var, learned 20 Minutes from the Var firefighters. Alerted, the latter went to Ribelon to try to rescue the victim, in vain.
The octogenarian's body was brought back to shore by the emergency services, then made available to the gendarmes of the Var. An investigation was opened by the Draguignan public prosecutor's office.
