According to the circular that the department sent to the owners and managers of commercial centers about reopening them, and «Emirates Today» obtained a copy of it, that it was decided that the working hours should be from 12 noon until nine in the evening, with the exception of the supermarket, pharmacies and exchange that are allowed to work from nine in the morning until 12 At night, with restrictions on the operation of some commercial activities and services, including cinema, sports clubs and entertainment centers.
The circular added that it was decided to close public seating areas and chapels, reduce the capacity of the malls to 30%, prevent those over the age of 60 from entering and allow restaurants to operate with a capacity of 30% maximum, while allowing four people a maximum for each table with a distance of two and a half meters A minimum between the tables. He pointed out that all workers in cleaning, security and guarding companies will be examined, with masks and gloves required for all visitors, and he urged shoppers to bring their bags.
He added that the centers and malls administration must limit the capacity of the parking lots in half, so that three people are allowed to get the car up to a maximum, while stopping the parking and washing services, installing sterilization devices and thermal detection on the entrances, and preventing the entry of those with a temperature exceeding 38 degrees Celsius. The circular stated that periodic sterilization should be done for all parts of the mall and points that shoppers touch such as escalators, encouraging shoppers to use electronic payment systems, and providing elevators for people of determination with a capacity of two people in each elevator, with marking of escalators and floors to ensure social spacing, and disrupting screens Touch and provide paramedics throughout working hours.
The circular clarified that (Covid 19) should be examined for all employees before reopening the mall, obligating employees to use masks and gloves and replace them frequently, checking the temperature of employees daily when entering the mall, and monitoring their temperature during working hours, with the sterilization of stores throughout the day .
He added that the crowding of the store must be controlled not to exceed one person for every five square meters, and it is not allowed to replace or import products, provide hand sanitizers at the areas of payment, sterilize shopping carts before and after each use, and restrict some activities and practices, including experimenting with cosmetics and perfumes. And shoes, closing the fitting rooms, requiring restaurants to sterilize their facilities daily and sterilize tables after each use, and to adopt disposable tableware.
