Today, Monday, the Iranian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 5011 poisoning and 525 deaths due to methanol alcohol consumption, due to the mistaken belief that it protects against the Corona virus.
This comes at a time when Iran recorded for the first time in 36 days, a decrease in the number of coronavirus infections.
The Iranian Ministry of Health said that 991 new injuries were recorded, compared to 1153 yesterday, which brings the total number of injured to 91472, noting that 96 new deaths were recorded, compared to 60 deaths on Sunday, bringing the total number to 5806.
