  The authorities said that from 0:00 local time on the 27th, among those who violate the isolation regulations, only those who agree to wear the "safe band" will wear it. Persons who do not agree to wear the "Reassure Bracelet" and violate the isolation regulations will be isolated at the facility.

  Earlier, due to successive violations of the self-isolation regulations, the South Korean government worried about the spread of the epidemic, and announced on 11th the plan to introduce a "reassurance bracelet." The wearer is a person who breaks the isolation without authorization or does not accept the confirmation phone and other violations of the isolation regulations. The bracelet will be connected to the self-isolation application installed on the phone via Bluetooth. If it deviates from a certain distance or the bracelet is damaged or cut off, the special manager will be notified automatically.

  At present, there are more than two thousand “reassurance bracelets” assigned by the Central Disaster Security Measures Headquarters to various local self-government organizations.

  As of 6 p.m. local time on the 26th, there were more than 39,000 self-isolated personnel in South Korea, of which more than 37,000 were overseas immigrants.

  Among the self-isolation personnel, 286 violated the isolation regulations. 209 people are being investigated by the police and 45 people have been transferred to the prosecution.
