China News Net Qinghai Golmud, April 27 (Sun Ruishi, Xuan Qing) A reporter learned from China National Petroleum Corporation Qinghai Oilfield Branch Company (hereinafter referred to as "Qinghai Oilfield") that Qinghai Oilfield pioneered a new method of oil and gas logging evaluation to help the plateau thousands Construction of 10,000-ton oil and gas fields.

Qinghai Oilfield is the highest oil and gas field in the world and one of the earliest developed oilfields in China. The Qaidam Basin, located in Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is an important oil and gas supply base in the four provinces of Qinghai, Tibet, Gansu, and Ningxia, with an average elevation of about 3,000 meters.

Zhang Shenqin, deputy director of the Exploration Department of Qinghai Oilfield, introduced that in recent years, in the creation of a new theory of plateau terrestrial oil production, Qinghai Oilfield has applied the technology of “face recognition” and “alcohol detector” for the first time in logging operations, making breakthroughs Progress, the coincidence rate of logging interpretation has increased from 64% to 80%, which has aroused great concern in the industry and provided tremendous technical support for the construction of 10 million tons of oil and gas fields in the plateau.

Logging is an important part of petroleum exploration and development. How to define the composition of lithological materials, how to distinguish the oil-water interface, and how to discover oil and gas from complex reservoirs are always important to restrict oil and gas exploration and development in the hundreds to thousands of kilometers underground Factors, logging work plays a special role of "scout".

The deep layer in the western Qaidam Basin is characterized by complex rock types, diverse storage spaces, and difficulty in detecting oil and gas information. It includes all the well-known logging difficulties at home and abroad, and is called the "Everest Peak" in the logging world.

"In the past work, due to the low coincidence rate of logging interpretation and poor accuracy, it has caused great troubles to the exploration and development work, and it is difficult to quickly discover oil and gas. The fine characterization of rock reservoirs and oil and gas identification technologies are incorporated into the new theory of terrestrial oil generation in the plateau. Through extensive theoretical research, experimental analysis, and technical research, two new logging technologies with unique characteristics and leading domestic levels have been formed. " Qin said that based on these two technologies, Qinghai Oilfield fully realized that the formation reservoir space is mainly fractures and dissolution during the exploration in the West of England. The large-scale development of intercrystalline pores is the key to the stable production of oil and gas. The new way of fluid identification under layer conditions is the first in the evaluation of deep lacustrine carbonate reservoirs.

Zhang Shenqin said that the application of these two new logging technologies not only reversed the passive situation of low oil test success rate in Yingxi block of Qaidam Basin, but also achieved significant production results. It has been popularized and applied in regions such as Fengxi 102 well and Yitan 2 well, which have obtained high-yield industrial oil flow, and the technology prospect is very broad. (Finish)
